Sunflower wax is obtained by processing sunflower oil. By chemical composition it is a mixture of long-chain esters with carbon number C40 to C60, as a result the wax is very hard, with a high melting point and crystalline structure.
In the production of candles, sunflower wax contributes to greater rigidity and strength, and at the same time it is a very good release agent and helps to remove candles from molds more easily.
Besides manufacturing of candles, sunflоwer wax is widely used in production of cosmetic products such as lipsticks, spirals, makeup bases, and more.
