Natural waxes are called waxes of plant or animal origin. Natural waxes are most often obtained by processing vegetable and animal oils through selective modifications.
By chemical composition, natural waxes are mixtures of alcohols, fatty acids and esters. Their origin differs but generally, they are hard, brittle and less fat, and at the same time resistant to moisture, oxidation and microbiological degradation.
